    If anyone wants some good sci-fi, I recommend The Expanse, both the books and the show. They make great use of kinetic impactors, especially Nemesis Games.

            I read the first 8 books twice. They are not that good. They start off nuclear hot and then fall into tropey sci-fi schlock. I think at least two of those books can be reduced entirely to prison breaks that don’t move the meta-plot a scosh.
