If anyone wants some good sci-fi, I recommend The Expanse, both the books and the show. They make great use of kinetic impactors, especially Nemesis Games.
I read the first 8 books twice. They are not that good. They start off nuclear hot and then fall into tropey sci-fi schlock. I think at least two of those books can be reduced entirely to prison breaks that don’t move the meta-plot a scosh.

Doors and corners, kid.
Other recommended book series for scifi physics:
Don’t forget the most epic sci fi universe of all time and Alistair Reynolds answer to the Fermi Paradox - Revelation Space.
Far far better than The Expanse.

Fuck there are 8 books in Revelation Space?
I read the first three and thought that was it, so I walked away happy. 😄 Lucky me I guess.
