When I was a kid I watched planet of the apes [ original one ] with my babysitter. She said the world was basically apes with cars. That always stuck with me, and as adult I feel the world basically does boil down to that.

Sad thing is, I don’t think in a lot of cases, it’s a matter of learning so much as not caring.
