Honestly, the introduction of this boiling down to the lesser evil of Dem vs. Rep seemed close enough to a strawman for me that I found it good enough for a quick quip.
My point is that they’ve already started setting up distractions from the typical arguments - conforming it to a false binary that moves the spotlight away from structural systems - before those arguments have even begun. Let me know if you know a term that would better apply.

He’s looking for a fight that no one is interested in so he can state all the facts they have been building up about economic policy.
The problem is that people that should hear it don’t care and those of us who care already know but can’t do much about it.

To be fair we know exactly what can be done about it, we just really don’t want our lives to get even harder (or end) in the short term.
