In China, statistics such as life expectancy keep going up, and have actually overtaken the US, whereas these quality of life indicators in the US are stagnating or even going down. Is China an ideal society at this point? Of course not, but one can still recognise what has been accomplished by their plans, weather you want to call it state capitalist, socialist or whatever other label, the results are there when compared to the quality of life 40 or 50 years ago.
That’s why it’s pretty funny for Biden to try deflect to China.
Don’t know what any of this has to do with sexual violence though.
Political elites allowing a certain segment of the society they lord over to not be mired in poverty to better secure their own power and privilege is no sign of “progress” - as the US proves, such economic manipulation can be very temporary.
