Well you know, and the money to buy the piece, the means to move it, a place to keep it.
Don’t you also need a $200 tax per shell?
I think if they’re explosive, each shell would be another destructive device. I believe you can get solid metal training rounds tho.

iirc, a lot of artillery is towed artillery and can be moved with a
standard(edit: pintle) trailer hitch.I’d expect most if not all would be pintle, but you can totally get a pintle to fit a normal receiver.
Since you seem to be versed on this, is it a functioning artillery piece? Like could you actually fire something out of it and would you need to make your own shells or can they be bought?
Hell for $200 and a weekend you could probably make a home cooked artillery piece
